Youth Voices Shape the Future: Insights from the #YouthLead Dialogues Summary Report

The UN Youth Office, with support from UNICEF Innocenti and the UN Futures Lab / Global Hub, has released the #YouthLead Dialogues Summary Report. This groundbreaking report reflects the voices of more than 75,000 young people across 67 countries, including Albania, who participated in 634 self-organized dialogues in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Western Europe, and other States.

The report’s launch coincided with the High-Level Meeting to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth, held on September 25th, 2025, as part of UN General Assembly activities.

Key insights from the global report include:

• 40% of youth demand employment and economic opportunities
• 30% of youth demand quality education
• 10% of youth demand physical and mental well-being

In Albania, the UN co-organized Youth-Led Dialogues with members of UNYAG, UNICEF Adolescents Advisory Board, and the Youth4Inclusion Fellowship during August–September 2025. Through U-Report platforms and roundtable dialogues, young people had the opportunity to share their perspectives, connecting today’s realities with tomorrow’s possibilities.
