WHO: Regional Meeting on Influenza Vaccination in Durrës

From 9 to 11 September 2024, Durrës hosted the fourth Regional Meeting on Influenza Vaccination, organized by SEEHN/SECID, WHO and the Partnership for International Vaccine Initiatives (PIVI). Representatives from Southeast Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia came together to discuss challenges and policies related to vaccination against respiratory diseases such as influenza, COVID-19 and RSV. During the summit, participants exchanged data from the EuroSAVE platform and discussed opportunities for closer regional cooperation, with the aim of building a more coordinated and sustainable strategy for dealing with infectious diseases.
