UNOPS: EU4Culture brings back a revived puppet show at the National Puppet Theatre, including audio-description 

On Friday, 19 September, the National Puppet Theatre stage came alive with the revival of “The Anger of the Letters”, a beloved puppet show performed after 40 years, as part of the “Heritage Marionettes” project implemented by the NGO Digital Future. The performance blended tradition with creativity to inspire a new generation.

For the first time, children with visual impairments were also able to experience the play through live audio descriptions, made possible by UNAA’s Annex Labs project, marking an important step toward inclusive cultural heritage. 

The event was attended as well by Ms. Ritva Heikkinen, Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation to Albania, Ms Lira Pipa, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sport, and Ms Sabine Kania, Head of Office, UNOPS Albania & Kosovo.

 This activity was supported through the EU4Culture grants programme, financed by the European Union and implemented by UNOPS in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport.
